After talking with other cyclists I decided to try another product, . This product is about half the price of Nair Shower Power For Men and is a bit easier on your skin, but still nothing I would recommend—too many ingrown hairs.
Nair Shower Power is supposed to be an easy way to get rid of hair on the arms, underarms, legs and bikini line while saving time. Honestly, I'd rather shave. In the end, I didn't save any time or get any longer lasting smoothness over shaving. Instead, I wound up with a burn and drier skin.
Nair Shower Power works a little bit different than most because you can put it on, wait one minute, and then go in the shower. (With most depilatory type products, going into the shower may alter your results.) In theory, it sounds like a great system.
Curious to see how it would last compared to shaving, I used Nair Shower Power Moisturizing on one leg, and whipped out the razor for the other. When getting out of the shower with hair removed from both legs and drying off, there were no immediate differences between the two. However, later that day an area on the right side of my lower leg which used the depilatory started to burn.
